The medical practice is outpatient-only, with two offices. One in the small town of Black Mountain, at the skirts of Asheville; one in the charming mountain township of Old Fort. You'll be assisted by another MD, Leslie Cargile, and two PAs, Robert Stephens and Randy Dobbins, as well as the most capable support staff in Western North Carolina. Most of the patients are between 10 and 65 years of age; and almost all are more than happy to be living in this fine mountain area, so there are few complaints. Call is shared equally among the four providers. FamilyCare monitors compensation levels, both locally and nationally, and maintains ours at topmost levels, including a comprehensive benefit package. For a new provider, we offer a signing bonus, a credentialing bonus, and relocation assistance.
